Our Policies

Pricing

Our prices are based on careful consideration of the effort, the materials and skill needed to create a result that meets your wishes and our standards of excellence. We consider, also, our investment in business space, materials and equipment, and special publications needed to perform a wide variety of custom woodworking jobs.
To ask us to charge a lower price than what we quote is to ask us to devalue our work or cut corners on your valuable possessions. We prefer not to do either.
 

Estimates

We will gladly provide estimates for restoration and repairs before any work is started. Estimates are based on anticipated labor and materials. Unanticipated or unseen problems may add to the final cost.

• Estimates in our shop: Free
• Estimates in client's home or office: $60.00
• Formal written estimates to submit to insurance companies: $50.00
• Diagnosis of mechanical rockers or recliners $50.00
   

Deposits

A 50% deposit is required on:

• all projects with estimated cost of $100 or more
• all custom build orders
